MyTrends++ App Reviews

Good work by underscore

Design freaks will live the monochrome complication, which is at the same time clearer about when you complete your goals.

Excellent display

Very readable and usable display of activity. I like the way it handles streaks, forgiving the occasional off day.

Perfect

This is what the Apple app should have been.

Echo

I use and love all three of the ++ apps. I will echo that the complications for them are slow to update. I cant knock a star though because Im not sure if that is a dev issue or an Apple issue. I would be super stoked if I could have a Health++ app that included the functions of all three. Thank you for this and all of the ++ apps!

That silly confetti.

Such a tiny, simple thing. Looking forward to that silly animation has done more for motivating my lazy butt than anything in years. Thanks, David.

Data Represented Very Clearly

If the circles motivate you, but you yearn for a bit more information this is the App for you. Data is displayed clearly, the UI is super obvious, and the statistics give you much more information than the Apple Activity App.

Shows activity data

Unfortunately, it shows the same data that you can already see in the stock activity app. I am a runner and the reason why I stopped using my apple watch and went back to my nike sport band and sport watch (GPS) is because after you have finished running there is nothing to do with the data. There is no easy way to compare your recent run to previous run, compare trends over a week, month, year, etc. I have been using nikeplus since 2009 and I was expecting no way to import data into the apple system as I know the apple system is very limited. I was expecting at least similar functionality that the nikeplus website has, as that is fairly bare-bones compared to other running sites but it suits my needs. Maybe a future version of this app will provide better detail for specific activities. Id just like basic stuff like distance, pace and heart rate and a way to compare this data over different time frames to recognize trends. It just shows the running data in terms of "minutes of exercise" which is useless.

An amazing app

Syncs activity from my Apple Watch and iPhone to give a full picture of my activity. My #1 watch app. Thx!

Great

Well done and good info to have in an easy to read way.

Good, but could be better

Very nice display for calories, hours standing, and exercise, but no display for steps or distance. Very nice summary screens.

Requires watch OS 3

Waiting for bug fix

Really great at streaking

Presents streaks as a great way of visualizing how many times in a row you meet a goal. Works fantastically well at motivating you to keep meeting your goals.

Essential

This is great, essential add on for Watch data visualization.

Probably worth 99c

Adds very little in top of the default apple activity app. Its not possible to find out things like daily total calories expended, a key missing piece of the default app. This just changes the layout of the same useless info - the streaks dont encourage one to be more active either, thats a very odd thing to use for selling. Useful statistics over time, graphed smartly, is what is missing. I removed this app.

Crash! Doesnt load properly

Worked on phone but not on watch. It starts to load on the watch and then inexplicably deletes itself. Dont buy this app!

What  activity app should be

The polish on this app is very impressive. It makes the activity data make sense to me and has refreshed my passion for this  WATCH feature. Well done Underscore! Cant wait to see how it is one week in.

Finally!!

Ive been waiting for an app like this for ages. Love how much clearer it is to track my activity.

Cant replace the default yet.

Love the statistics. But with 9.3, the default has a dedicated workout tab. Hope the dev to add this. On the watch, despite the cumbersome navigation, the default shows more info including steps and distance. But anyway, this is a 1.0. Definitely will get better in the future.

Great app

Feature requests: 1. Add the option to make the bars colored! 2. Not sure if Im the only one, but the calorie goal is the only goal that really matters to me. Itd be awesome for the large modular complication to customize so that it only displayed one large bar, perhaps along with a percentage. Ideally, a graphic representation in the bar and a numerical representation as a percentage of that particular goal. I came from Jawbone Up before Apple Watch and sometimes I miss the percentage-of-goal-completed readout. So again, amazing app! I think more customization on complications would be great, though!
